President Serzh Sargsyan conveys condolences on demise of Albert Mkrtchyan

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolence message to the Mkrtchyan family on the passing of renowned filmmaker, People’s Artist of Armenia Albert Mkrtchyan.

The President expressed deep condolences to Albert Mkrtchyan’s relatives, friends, colleagues and the fans of his sublime art.

“Significant is Albert Mkrtchyan’s contribution to the development and popularization of Armenian cinema and theater. Many of his films were appreciated even by the most exacting art critics and loved by the high-class audience. He enjoyed great popularity both as a cultural figure and as a citizen. We highly value his years-long pedagogical activities aimed at bringing up new generations of artists,” RA President’s condolence message reads.
