President sends congratulatory message on Ofelya Hambardzumyan’s 90th birthday

President Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory message to the RA People’s Artist Ofelya Hambardzumyan on the occasion of her 90th birthday.

“For decades, you have been not only an unmatched performer of Armenian folk music, but also have elevated Armenian music to a new level. Your songs have admired, inspired and nurtured many generations both in the motherland and the Diaspora.

With your high art, you have contributed to the dissemination and popularization of Armenian music, thus enjoying great public appreciation.

I wish you good health, a happy life and all the best,” reads the RA President’s congratulatory message.
