Congratulations received on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Armenia’s independence

On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence, President Sarkissian receives congratulations from the leaders of different states.

The President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier in his congratulatory message noted in particular that the year 2018 has been important and eventful for Armenia. “I wish you and the entire Armenian nation every success in carrying on with the policy of reformation in the state and social areas. Please be assured that on this my country will be glad to stand by you,” reads the congratulatory message of the President of Germany.

The President of Italy Sergio Mattarella noted in particular: “Armenia and Italy have always been united through the centuries-long friendship which is based on common values and fruitful cooperation of our peoples.

It constitutes the base for the strong and full of opportunities cooperation between our countries which also stimulates a dialogue between Armenia and the European Union.”

President of Poland Andrzej Duda expressed confidence that the Armenian-Polish relations will continue to develop vigorously based on mutual understanding and respect. “Moreover, I am confident that cooperation between Armenia and the European Union will develop dynamically, especially considering Eastern Partnership and Framework Agreement which was signed last year during the Summit in Brussels,” the President of Poland noted.

The President of Ireland Michael Higgins, President of Greece Prokopios Pavlopoulos, President Brazil Michel Temer, President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto, President of the State Council and Council of Ministers Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov also sent they congratulations and best wishes to President Sarkissian and Armenian people.
