President Serzh Sargsyan receives OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs

President Serzh Sargsyan today received the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, James Warlick of the United States of America, and Pierre Andrieu of France, who have arrived in Armenia on a regional visit. Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, also participated in the meeting.

The Co-Chairs presented the President with the impressions of their meetings in Baku, discussed their concerns regarding the current stage of the peace process and issues pertaining to further steps.

At the meeting, Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the statement issued by the OSCE Minsk Co-Chairs in Krakow on 27 January 2015. According to the President, it clearly differed from the previous statements in calling on Azerbaijan to observe its commitments to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
