President receives Belarusian ambassador to Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Stepan Sukhorenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia, at the completion of his diplomatic duties in our country.

The president thanked Ambassador Sukhorenko for the work done by the embassy during his tenure to strengthen interstate relations and ties between the two friendly peoples and for his personal contribution.

Serzh Sargsyan wished Stepan Sukhorenko success in his further activities and expressed the hope that Belarus’s next ambassador will continue, with the same energy, to work and put efforts into making the most of the great economic cooperation potential of the two countries, taking into account the fact that Armenia and Belarus have new and broader opportunities for collaboration within the frame of integration unions.

Ambassador Sukhorenko thanked Armenia’s president and all the RA government bodies for the effective cooperation, the continued support of the embassy’s activities and for their mutual understanding. He noted that he is leaving with warm memories of our country, and he will continue to remain friends with Armenia.
