President Serzh Sargsyan had a phone conversation with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan had a phone conversation with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. The phone call was initiated by the UN Secretary General.

During the conversation, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed regret that due to some unforeseen circumstances he had to postpone his visit to Armenia.

The Secretary General of the United Nations stressed the importance of a peaceful resolution of the NK problem and expressed his total support for the activities of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

President Sargsyan noted that the Armenian public was looking forward to the Secretary General’s visit to Armenia for a long time and expressed hope that it would be possible to arrange his meeting on a new, mutually agreed date.
