The Honorary Title of Honored Painter of the Republic of Armenia is awarded to worker of arts in the areas of fine arts, painting, sculpture, graphics, design, theatrical decorative and decorative and applied arts, as well as to masters of artistic workmanship for creation of valuable artistic works and great merit in promotion of arts.
