The Honorary Title of Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Armenia is awarded to theater, cinema and circus artists, directors, artistic directors of musical, choir, dance and other groups, stage-managers, choir conductors, concertmasters, musicians and performers, journalists, authors with demonstrable achievements and merit in development of literature and culture, individuals in the areas of cinematography, radio and television, mass media, publishing, museum and library services and other cultural workers for their valuable works and high professionalism, as well as for their great merit in development of culture.
