President receives Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

President Serzh Sargsyan received Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, who is paying a working visit to Armenia.

The parties discussed issues of Armenian-Georgian cooperation and the programs aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. In this context, they touched upon the process of implementing the agreements reached at a high level.

President Sargsyan stressed the importance of reciprocated high-level visits, which, in his opinion, provide an opportunity to discuss the ongoing cooperation and review new opportunities for their development.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Georgia thanked the friendly Armenia for valuable assistance provided during the firefighting effort in Borjomi.

Serzh Sargsyan and Mikheil Janelidze also discussed the Armenian-Georgian partnership within the framework of international organizations, as well as the development of relations in a multilateral format. They exchanged views on regional, international problems and challenges. In this context, they touched upon the process of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
