President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a condolence letter with regard to the demise of Albert Azaryan.

"I was deeply saddened to learn about the demise of the legendary gymnast Albert Azaryan.

Azaryan's contribution to the development of Armenian gymnastics is undeniable and invaluable. His sports biography has inspired many generations and has become a benchmark for young athletes who, following the example of Albert Azaryan, continue to achieve new heights and medals.

Albert Azaryan's name is engraved in the Olympic firmament of Armenian and world sports.
