I cordially congratulate you and all our people on the occasion of Independence Day.

September 21 is a notable day for all Armenians. It marked the revival of the Armenian statehood for which our people had been struggling for a long time. The aspiration for mastering their own destiny and living free and independent on their native land had always accompanied our ancestors, had become a supreme goal and the only way to preserve our national identity and continue our existence.

It is already 23 years since our nation embarked on that road by overcoming all difficulties and gaining glorious victories. We won those victories at the price of unspeakable privation and losses which makes us always be vigilant and watchful and to make a concerted effort to strengthen and reinforce the independent Armenian statehood day-by-day. Armenia and Artsakh are the motherland of all Armenians, and their development and prosperity is a matter of honor for each Armenian.

I am confident that owing to the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora strong triumvirate we will be able to successfully deal with challenges facing our people and achieve further success and victories.

I once again congratulate you and all our compatriots on the occasion of the national holiday and wish you peace, good health and all the best for the benefit of Mother Armenia and the Armenian people,” reads the congratulatory message of the NKR President.
