President congratulated the composer Ervand Erkanian on the occasion of his 65th birth anniversary

President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to the RA Distinguished Art Worker, composer Ervand Erkanian on the occasion of his 65th birth anniversary.

“You are one of the prominent figures in the modern Armenian art of music, an artist endowed with a creative nature and great talent whose life and work manifest endless dedication to the Armenian music.

Your compositions are deeply Armenian, anchored in the Komitasian roots, while the musical images created by you are marked with the unmistakably Erkanian style of an epic thinking.

I wish you good health and new creative achievements,” reads the congratulatory message of the President of Armenia.
