Holiday events for children kick off at Presidential Palace

 

Children from a series of border villages, including Chambarak and Vahan villages in Gegharkunik marz, Khndzorut, Bardzruni, Khachik and Sers villages in Vayots Dzor marz, Yeraskh village in Ararat marz, Barekamavan, Berdavan, Dovegh and Baghanis villages in Tavush marz and children of Syrian Armenian refugees were hosted today at the Presidential Palace on the occasion of New Year and Christmas. The children from border communities arrived in the capital a day earlier and apart from the festive event at the Presidential Palace, an additional cultural program was organized for them which involved tours to the History Museum of Armenia and Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum.

The festive events for children will continue at the Presidential Palace on the 25th of December as well. Children and grandchildren of deceased and disabled freedom fighters, of veterans of the Artsakh Liberation War and servicemen, including those from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, as well as children with limited abilities will be hosted at 26 Baghramyan Avenue.
