Serzh Sargsyan meets with members of RPA Women’s Council and activists of territorial and regional organizations

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), today attended a seminar organized by the RPA Women’s Council which was joined by activists of territorial and regional organizations.

During this traditionally-held seminar, the female party members summed up the works carried out in 2014 by the council and territorial organizations, reported their results to the president of the party which was followed by discussion of current activities and tasks of the women’s council for 2015.

The RPA female members asked the President to present his points of view and positions on a number of interesting and present-day issues. The questions were about party and organizational matters, as well as about pressing items on Armenia’s foreign and domestic policy agenda –the Armenian President’s decision to recall the Armenia-Turkey Protocols from the RA National Assembly, regional challenges, our country’s security and defense, the process of constitutional amendments etc.

At the end of the meeting, the President handed over diplomas and letters of acknowledgement to the female party members who actively engaged in their work during the last year.
