President is due to pay working visits to the United States of America and the Russian Federation

From 5 to 7 May, President Serzh Sargsyan will pay a working visit to the United States of America.

The Armenian President will hold meetings in the Senate. In Washington, Serzh Sargsyan is also to meet with the U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, James Warlick.

The President will visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Library of Congress to familiarize himself with the library’s Armenian exhibits.

As part of his visit, the Armenian President will be hosted at the office of the Washington Post newspaper and will hold a meeting with its editorial board.

In Washington, several meetings are to be held with heads of Armenian organizations and representatives of the Armenian-American community.

On May 7, at Washington National Cathedral, President Serzh Sargsyan will take part in an interreligious prayer devoted to the Armenian Genocide and will deliver an address.

On May 8, Serzh Sargsyan will make a working visit to Moscow to participate in the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and in the events dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
