Ambassador  Piotr Świtalski, Head of the EU Delegation to the RA, thanked for the best wishes and for the RA president’s important political message on the development of RA-EU relations, and assured the president that together with his team he will do everything to continue efforts based on the work carried out hitherto and to elevate RA-EU relations to a qualitatively new level.

The ambassador underscored that Armenia is a crucial partner for the European Union not only for the reason that Armenia is included in the EU Neighborhood Policy, but also because it is an organic part of a broader European region, and throughout millenniums Armenians have made a vital contribution to the development of European history and civilization and share common values.

The RA president and the head of the EU delegation stressed the importance of the initiative to revise and update the European Neighborhood Policy, which was confirmed through a differentiated approach in the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga, emphasizing the loyalty to shared values and the progress in reform implementation.
