President receives IMF Mission Chief to Armenia Mark Horton

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Mark Horton, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief to Armenia.

The president welcomed the guest and expressed the hope that his regular mission will be effective, particularly in terms of assessing and overcoming the continuous negative external impacts on Armenia’s economy and of finding solutions to fostering economic growth. Armenia’s president spoke highly of the programs and cooperation with the IMF and thanked the fund for its support of Armenia.

Serzh Sargsyan attached importance to the completion of the regular review of the IMF Extended Fund Facility and to the approval of results by the IMF Executive Board.
