President Serzh Sargsyan holds reception in honor of participants of international conference convened by RA CC

President Serzh Sargsyan held a reception today in honor of the participants of the 20th Yerevan International Conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and to the 20th anniversary of the Constitutional Court.

The subject of the conference was “The Role of Constitutional Courts in Strengthening the Independence of the Judicial Power: the Doctrinal Approaches and Contemporary Challenges.” Afterwards, at the Government Reception House, the participants took part in the cancellation ceremony of postage-stamps memorializing the 20th anniversary of the RA Constitutional Court. The stamp displays the building of the RA Constitutional Court, the flag of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the symbol of justice, Femida, holding the Constitution in her hand.
