Working visit of President Serzh Sargsyan to the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh

Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Commander-in Chief Serzh Sargsyan who is visiting Nagorno Karabakh in the framework of cooperation of the two Armenian states, accompanied by the President of Artsakh Bako Sahakian, Ministers of Defense and the highest military command of two Armenian Republics toured a number of military units of the Artsakh Defense Army. The tour commenced with the observation of the regimental tactical military exercise on combat crossfire which was conducted with the participation of the servicemen of the Defense Army at the Mekhakavan firing ground. At the conclusion of the exercise, the Presidents of two Armenian states and heads of military departments handed awards to the servicemen who brought their active participation to the exercise.

In the framework of his working visit, the Commander-in-Chief of RA participated in the opening ceremonies of important military facilities, visited the frontline and a number of military properties, familiarized with the social and living conditions of the troops, observed engineering and fortification structures.
