President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct an official visit to Greece and Cyprus

On March 14-15, President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct an official visit to the Republic of Greece. The President of Armenia will hold meeting with the highest leadership of Greece, Armenian community and representatives of the Armenian traditional political parties (ARF, RAK, SDHK) which constitute part of the Armenian community. In Athens, the parties will sign numerous documents pertinent to the deepening of the Armenian-Greek bilateral relations and cooperation in a number of areas. After the signing ceremony, the President of Armenia and Prime Minister of Greece at the meeting with the representatives of mass media will summarize the results of bilateral negotiations.

In the framework of the visit, Serzh Sargsyan together with the President of Greece will attend the opening ceremony of the Armenia: The Spirit of Ararat exhibition which will be opened at the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens.

On March 15, the President of Armenia will conduct an official visit to Cyprus, where he will meet with the President of the country, Speaker of the Parliament, Armenian community, and the Archbishop of All Cyprus. The President of Armenia and Cyprus will summarize the results of the visit at the joint press conference which will take place after the ceremony of signing of the documents which will enhance the bilateral cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan will also visit the University of Cyprus where he will meet with the students and faculty, make a statement and answer the questions of the audience.

On March 16, President Serzh Sargsyan will leave Cyprus for Brussels where he will participate at the Summit of the European People’s Party.
