President receives Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina

President Serzh Sargsyan received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak.

Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan noted that as the first high-level visit from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Armenia this is a good chance to look at ways of developing bilateral relations and launching effective cooperation.

The President stressed that Armenia appreciates the strengthening of relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina based on friendship, mutual trust and partnership.

The Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina said to be pleased to head a high-ranking official delegation of his country to Armenia, adding that he would like this visit to be viewed as a concrete step and message that his country wants to develop relations with Armenia. The Minister stressed that there are no obstacles whatsoever for the development of relations and strong ties of friendship between the two countries and peoples. He expressed the hope that his visit might open up a new chapter in the record of bilateral relations.

After introducing his country’s foreign policy priorities and the prospects for development in different directions, the Bosnian Minister inquired about the current situation and developments in the South Caucasus, noting that Bosnia and Herzegovina is closely following the developments in the region.
