President Serzh Sargsyan receives USSR People’s Artist Iosif Kobzon

 President Serzh Sargsyan received today RF State Duma Cultural Affairs Committee First Deputy Chairman, USSR People’s Artist Iosif Kobzon, who is in Yerevan to attend a charity concert titled “Together,” dedicated to his 80th birth anniversary.

The President welcomed the guest back to Armenia, to whom he had sent a congratulatory message on his birthday. Taking advantage of the occasion, the President of Armenia once again congratulated the famous artist.

For considerable contribution to the strengthening of Armenian-Russian friendly relations and the development of cultural ties, President Sargsyan awarded Iosif Kobzon a high State award - the Order of Honor.
