President of the Republic of Armenia met with the President-elect of Argentina in Buenos Aires

As part of his working visit to the Republic of Argentina, President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with the President-elect of Argentina Javier Milei.
Before the inauguration ceremony to be held on December 10, the meeting between Javier Milei and Vahagn Khachaturyan is scheduled the first among the meetings of the President-elect of Argentina.

Javier Milei welcomed President Khachaturyan and expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation to participate in his inauguration ceremony. "It is a privilege for me to meet with you. I have been to Armenia and I am familiar with Armenia. I am confident that we will further deepen and strengthen our relations," the President-elect of Argentina noted.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated Javier Milei on winning the elections. "Please accept my heartfelt congratulations to you on the victory, I am convinced that we will do our best to raise the Armenian-Argentine relations to a higher level. I also wish to express my gratitude to the top leadership of Argentina for the support provided to Armenia over the recent years. We always sense the presence of Argentina in our country," the President noted.

During the meeting, President Vahagn Khachaturyan invited Javier Milei to Armenia on behalf of himself and the Prime Minister of Armenia, in response to which the President-elect of Argentina stated that he would be glad to visit Yerevan if possible, thereby further contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of bilateral interest and the promotion of investment programs. During the discussion, both sides emphasized the need for consistent reforms in the state administration system.

Toward the end of the meeting, the importance of promoting effective cooperation between Armenia and Argentina was highlighted.
