An Armenian-Kazakh exhibition will open at Marie Izmirlian Orphanage under the auspices of the President’s wife Nouneh Sarkissian

Under the auspices of the President's wife Nouneh Sarkissian, on the occasion of the Children's Rights Protection Day, an exhibition will open at the Marie Izmirlian Orphanage jointly with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia, where more than thirty works of Armenian and Kazakh disabled children will be presented.

Prior to the opening of the exhibition, Mrs. Sarkissian, accompanied by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev, visited the orphanage and got acquainted with the handmade pieces of the orphanage children and about two dozen paintings of children from special nursing homes in Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Imanbayev thanked the President's wife for organizing such an event under her auspices.

During the visit, Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian inquired about the activities of the Marie Izmirlian Orphanage, where more than one hundred children with physical and mental problems are taken care of. Mrs. Sarkissian talked to the staff of the orphanage and inquired about the children's preferences. She stressed that children with special needs especially need the love and attention of all of us.

The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for June 1, the Children’s Rights Protection Day.
