On the occasion of the plane crash of the Aeroflot-Nord company’s Moscow-Perm flight President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev.
Dear Dmitri Anatolievich,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the occasion of the plane crash of the Aeroflot-Nord company’s Moscow-Perm flight.
As the person who headed rescue works on the Armavia company’s plane which crashed near Sochi, I know only too well how difficult it will be to find words of comfort for the families and friends of the victims. Support and compassion provided by Russia in those times will never be forgotten in Armenia.
In these tragic times the people of Armenia are grieving with you, families and friends of the victims and all the citizens of Russia.
