The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni on the tragic death of the hundreds of people during the Water Festival.
The letter states:
“Your Majesty,
On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I express deep condolences to You and the people of Cambodia on the tragic death of the hundreds of people during the Water Festival.
Sharing Your and Cambodian people’s grief and anguish, I wish resilience and courage to the families and friends of the victims.
Please accept, Your Majesty, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
