President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the terrorist attack in the city of Chabahar.
The letter states:
“Your Excellency,
I learned the news on the terrorist attack in Chabahar with great pain. This act of terror claimed lives of dozens of innocent people who were participating at the sacred Muslim Tasua and Ashura religious ceremony.
I strongly condemn that vicious and inhumane act and express sincere condolences to the friendly people of Iran, sending words of consolations to the friends and families of the victims.”
The letter states:
