Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a message of condolences on the passing away of the Distinguished Art Worker of the Republic of Armenia Jirair Avetissian. In his message addressed to the family, friends, colleagues and followers, the President of Armenia says: “His contribution to the creation and development of our national television is remarkable. Movies and TV films created with the participation of Jirair Avetissian enjoy large popularity and thanks to his long-term teaching activities a generation of required specialists of that area was educated in Armenia.”
