President Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the Armenian-French artist Richard Jéranian
President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences to the family and friends of the renowned Armenian-French artist Richard Jéranian.
“I learned with great sorrow the news of the demise of the renowned artist Richard Jéranian. The artist, who was born in Sebastia and lived in France, for almost one century, as long as he lived served as a unique cultural bridge between Armenia and Spyurk. Richard Jéranian was always connected to Armenia, which he visited often, where he displayed his works and presented them to the Fatherland.
The Armenian spirit, which stretches in his pictures from Paris to Yerevan, from New York to Beirut, was always present in his works, always present any place where Armenians live, where his works were exhibited.”
