President Armen Sarkissian sent a message of condolences to the President of Portugal

The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Portuguese Republic Marcelo Rebelo di Sousa on the occasion of the death of former President of Portugal Jorge Sampaio.

"Jorge Sampaio was an outstanding politician, fully committed to his country, a defender of democracy.

I express my deep condolences to you, the people of Portugal, and the members of the President's family," says President Armen Sarkissian in his message.
