President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a message of condolence to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the accompanying staff.

The message reads:

"Your Highness,

I am deeply shocked by the news of the tragic helicopter crash which caused the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other dignitaries accompanying them.

I express my sincere condolences and support to You, the Government of Iran and the friendly people of Iran, wishing patience and spiritual strength.

At this trying time, we share the grief and bitterness of the loss of the fraternal people of Iran.

Please accept, Your Highness, the deep assurance of my respect."
