Congratulatory message by president Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Constitution Day
Dear Compatriots,
I congratulate you on the occasion of the Constitution Day.
Adoption of Constitution is a historic event in the life of any state. Constitution played an enormous role in the founding of the Armenian statehood, establishment and strengthening of democracy. The Constitution has been and remains a catalyst and a guiding light for our development.
That is why this day is a holiday in our country. This is the holiday of all our citizens and compatriots, all those who realize their constitutional rights and freedoms as well as their responsibilities.
Today we and our country have new challenges to overcome, and we can do it only through the respect toward the Constitution and the laws. We have entered a critical stage and should emerge from it more law-abiding, more democratic and more organized.
Dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia,
The Constitution Day is a holiday for all of us since we are the Constitution, each and every one of us. Power of the Main Law depends on our determination, on the willpower of the people who are ready to protect it and defend our way of life.
Once again congratulating all of us with this holiday, I wish us will, endurance, and determination for the implementation of the most ambitious programs aimed at the development of our country.
