President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Patriarch of All Russia
The message states:
"Your Holiness,
I congratulate you on your election as Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. I am confident that your leadership will further enhance the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Russian society, its system of spiritual and ethic values, and advancement of inter-confessional dialogue in Russia and abroad.
I am certain that you will be working for stronger relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church, fostering traditions of brotherhood between our peoples.
Allow me to wish you, Your Holiness, God’s assistance in all your endeavors and undertaking for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox Church, and I wish peace, hope, and love to all its followers".
