President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message on the 20th anniversary of Hayastani Hanrapetutyun daily.
The message states:
“I send my congratulations on the 20th anniversary of Hayastani Hanrapetutyun daily.
As a contemporary of our regained independence, Hayastani Hanrapetutyun passed the same path – full of challenges but also glory, and has become a chronologist and a witness of our modern history.
Always true to its mission, for two decades the paper has played an important role in providing our public with full and comprehensive information. Through its accuracy and reliability, Hayastani Hanrapetutyun has acquired with the thousands of its readers a well-deserved repute of a trustworthy source of information.
I once again congratulate the staff of Hayastani Hanrapetutyun and wish you strength and tenacity, new success and artistic heights so that the paper along with its readers can enjoy the bliss of printing many more anniversary editions.”

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Hayastani Hanrapetutyun daily, President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to award a member of the paper’s staff, journalist Anahit Haytayan with the Movses Khorenatsi medal for her outstanding professionalism and long and productive career in journalism.
By another decree of the President of Armenia, for the input in the development of journalism in Armenia Samvel Sarkissian, Executive Secretary of Hayastani Hanrapetutyun daily and journalist Petros Sarukhanian were awarded the title of the Distinguished Journalist of Armenia.
The message states:
