Congratulatory Message by President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the RA National Security Forces Day
Distinguished employees of the RA National Security Forces,
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of the RA National Security Forces Day.
The passing year has been signified by the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia. The role of National Security Forces in the formation of our state is undeniable. Since the reestablishment of our statehood, you have put your efforts into the protection of our Motherland as well as into the difficult and responsible task of safeguarding its internal and external security. The importance of the activities of the National Security Forces for ensuring a safe future for our society and our state is exceptional also in modern times.
Unceasing bragging of the leadership of the neighboring state about the resumption of war these days have considerably clouded the prospects of stable peace in the region. Under these conditions, you have to continue to conquer all complexities and solve with honor tasks related to the intelligence, counterintelligence, constitutional order, protection of the state border and fight against terror, providing adequate response to all existing challenges.
I once again congratulate you on your professional holiday and wish you excellent health, new professional achievements for the benefit of our people and security of our state.
