Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Government of RF Dmitry Medvedev

President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

The message states:

“Dear Dmitry Anatolievich,

I cordially and earnestly congratulate You on the occasion of assuming the post of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Conclusive results of the voting in the State Duma have become an indisputable assertion of the high assessment of Your activities aimed at the steady implementation in Russia of the large-scale social and economic reforms and further enhancement of the country’s role on the international arena.

Dear Dmitry Anatolievich,

I would like to express sincere gratitude for Your constant attention toward the strengthening of the allied relations between Armenia and Russia. Our strategic partnership registers new success each year and our cooperation in the trade and economic, scientific and educational as well as humanitarian areas is enriched by new achievements.

I recall warmly Your visits to Yerevan and Gyumri, cordial reception and hospitality extended to me in Moscow and other cities of Russia, our efficient and genial meetings on the margins of different international forums.

Your personal input to the process of a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh issue is invaluable. Important trilateral meetings of the Presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan initiated by You, as well as Your consistent efforts aimed at the approximation of the positions of the Parties regarding the basic principles for the resolution of the conflict, which have been unequivocally supported by the other Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, deserve the utmost appreciation.

I am confident that the further expansion of the Armenian-Russian alliance stems from the true interests of our peoples, promotes development of our countries and works toward the security in the South Caucasus region.

Dear Dmitry Anatolievich,

I wish You and Your family good health and well-being, as well as new achievements to You in Your work for the benefit of Russia.”
