President Serzh Sargsyan sent congratulatory message to EPP President Joseph Daul

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the European People’s Party (EPP) Joseph Daul.

On his own behalf and on behalf of the Republican Party of Armenia, the Armenian President cordially congratulated Joseph Daul and the European People’s Party on the occasion of winning the European Parliament elections held from 22 to 25 May.

“The EPP’s victory both in these and previous elections as the most influential political force in consolidating Europe, promoting the European identity and ideal was quite expected. The victory gained in this difficult period once again demonstrates that the EPP and its member parties continue to enjoy great confidence among European voters.

I strongly believe that the EPP family will keep on supporting Armenia in further enlarging and advancing the Armenia-EU relations,” reads the congratulatory message of the Armenian President.
