President sends congratulatory message on Zori Balayan’s 80th birthday

President Serzh Sargsyan today sent a congratulatory message to the writer and publicist Zori Balayan, RA Honorary Worker of Culture, on his 80th birthday.
“Honorable Mr. Balayan, Dear Zori,

I cordially congratulate you on your 80th birthday.

As a public, political and national figure and as a writer-publicist, you have made a major contribution to the development and enrichment of Armenian publicism, by giving undivided attention to the urgent issues that are of great concern for Armenians.

Being one of the inspirators, leaders and ideologists of the Karabakh Movement, you have brought a significant input into the Artsakh Liberation War. With your broadly recognized books and publications, which also include the entire chronology of our liberation war, you help to consolidate and unite Armenians all over the world.

As a traveler and doctor, you have supported the internationalization of our struggle, by sailing around the world on the Cilicia and Armenia vessels and by crossing seas and oceans, hoisting the national flags of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh.

I wish you good health, inexhaustible vigor and further creative success,” reads the RA President’s congratulatory message.
