President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the President of Artsakh Bako Sahakian on the occasion of his birth anniversary:

Please accept my sincere congratulations and warm wishes on the occasion of your birth anniversary. It’s been more than a quarter of a century that Artsakh is creating the history of its struggle, freedom, and sovereignty, establishing and strengthening institutions of state governance and democracy.

Over a decade of that period of time belongs to your tenure in office as President of Artsakh when on a historical part of the Armenian land the Armenian statehood of Artsakh has been developing and maturing incessantly.

Your experience, authority, and ability to resolve with dignity complicated situations for the benefit of Artsakh were used even before that, during the Artsakh liberation fight and war and on different state positions. The mandate to lead Artsakh as President for two terms clearly manifest the trust of the people and testify to the fact that you have been successful.

Let that success always stay with you in all your state and national undertakings and in your personal life.
