President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Alain Berset on his election as President of the Swiss Confederation.

This year marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Swiss Confederation, which, I am sure, will give a new impetus to the deepening and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Emphasizing the Importance of the further development of close ties with Switzerland, I express my willingness to put consistent efforts into the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
