President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu on the National holiday – Republic Day.

The message particularly says:

“Today, we are witnessing India’s drastic progress and achievements, which has contributed to the rise of the country’s reputation in the international arena. India's successful membership in the UN Security Council and this year's presidency of the Group of Twenty and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization serve as a vivid confirmation of that.

Armenia attaches special significance to the development and deepening of traditional warm relations based on centuries-old historical bonds and mutual trust with India in all the fields of mutual interest. I believe that with joint efforts, we will manage to give new quality and content to the comprehensive development of cooperation in the fields of politics, economy and culture. ”
