President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the Assyrians on the Assyrian New Year - Kha b-Nisan

President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the Assyrian community of Armenia on the Assyrian New Year - Kha b-Nisan.

The message says:

“The friendship and historical–cultural relations between Armenian and Assyrian people are rooted in ancient times.

Living side by side for centuries on end, we supported each other with the same compassion in all the challenges and hardships. The Assyrians in Armenia enjoy all the rights and freedoms to preserve their national identity, culture and language.

May this bright holiday, symbolizing nature’s awakening, become the beginning of everlasting peace, joy and new achievements for the Assyrian community of Armenia and the Assyrians of the whole world.”
