President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Pope Leo XIV on the anniversary of his election as the Supreme Pontiff of Rome.

“I am confident that, during this challenging period, Your Holiness’s noble mission will contribute to the establishment of peace, justice, and tolerance throughout the world.

Armenia highly values its relations with the Holy See, which are grounded in Christian values, strong historical ties, and spiritual and cultural heritage, as well as the high-level dialogue currently in place. These serve as a solid foundation for the further deepening of cooperation,” the message states.
