The President of Armenia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All Armenian Hayastan Fund Serzh Sargsyan presided over the sitting of the Board
Today, at the Government Reception House, the President of Armenia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All Armenian Hayastan Fund Serzh Sargsyan presided over the sitting of the Board.
At the proposal of the President and after the vote of the Board members, the Board of Trustees of Hayastan Fund was joined by a new member – the Founding Director of Pyunik Benevolent Fund Gabriel Jembergin (Jemberjian) and Vache Gabrielian, the RA Minister of Finance was confirmed as a member of the Board ex officio. The Executive Department of the Fund was instructed to make corresponding amendments to the Charter related to the expansion of the Board, establishing that the Board comprises 36 members.
Later, the participants of the meeting viewed a video presentation on the works conducted through the Fund’s sponsorship in 2010 and listened to the report of the Executive Director of the Fund Ara Vardanian about the accomplishments of the Executive Department of the Fund in 2010.
In the framework of the agenda, the members of the Board of Trustees were familiarized with conclusions of the Oversight Board and Grant Thornton audit company. Afterwards, participants of the meeting discussed the report of the Vice-Chair of the Fund Gagik Haroutyunian related to the activities of the Fund in the previous years, its future plans, problems and avenues to address them.
