Today President Serzh Sarkissian presided over the sitting of the Governing Council of the Lincy Foundation.
The President of Armenia stressed the importance of cooperation with the Foundation and said that successful implementation of the programs would provide an opportunity to deepen and expand the cooperation in the future. He also said that Vice-Prime Minister Armen Gevorgian would continue to lead the Governing Council.
President Sarkissian noted that the programs of the Lincy Foundation would be in the focus of his attention. He underscored two important conditions: first, the works must be conducted at the highest professional level and with this regard the partners should have a total trust in each other’s work, and second, structures and the projects should be modern and in full compliance with the current requirements.
At the sitting of the Governing Council of the Lincy Foundation discussed were also issues related to the present activities of the Foundation.
