President Serzh Sargsyan received the President of the German “Cronimet” Company, Armenia’s Honorary Council in Baden-Württemberg, Günter Pilarsky

Today President Serzh Sargsyan received the President of the German “Cronimet” Company, Armenia’s Honorary Council in Baden-Württemberg, Günter Pilarsky and his delegation.

The President of Armenia welcomed that fact that each visit of the German businessman brings about a new project. “We welcome new initiatives, constantly encourage and assist investors, and our objective is to create business and investment climate equally appealing to all investors,” stressed the President of Armenia.

G. Pilarsky spoke in detail about operations of the cooper-molybdenum factory in Zangezur, the forthcoming projects directed at the its further development, such as the construction of a cooper processing plant in Kajaran, and modernization of other subsidiary enterprises. President Sargsyan welcomed these projects and said that any modernization makes an enterprise much more efficient for the people working there, for the owner, and for the state. Noting that social and economic development of the regions is high on the Government’s agenda, Serzh Sargsyan said that this kind of programs create new jobs and assist in solving certain social issues.

Observing that Armenia is a good field for investment, G. Pilarsky said that a group of German businessmen arrived to Armenia and were discussing with their Armenian colleagues the possibilities of making investments in different areas of economy.
