The ceremony of swearing in the new judge has taken place
By the August 6 decree of President Serzh Sargsyan, Arsen Mkrtchian was appointed Chairman of the Court of Cassation.
Today at the session of the Justice Council, which was attended by the President of Armenia, there took place the ceremony of swearing in the new judge.
Assuming the high position of judge, he vowed to “fulfill his responsibilities in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, to be fair and principled, just and humane, to solemnly observe all the requirements of the post, maintaining supremacy of the law and upholding the prestige of the judicial authorities.”
Congratulating the newly appointed judge, the President of Armenia wished him to be independent and uncorrupt in his work.
