President Serzh Sargsyan will be leaving for Paris and Brussels

On November 3, President Serzh Sargsyan from Moscow will depart for Paris. In Paris Serzh Sargsyan will hold a private meeting with the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. He will also meet with the President of the French Senate, Gerard Larcher and the great singer and public figure, Charles Aznavour.


From Paris the President of Armenia will leave for Brussels.

Serzh Sargsyan will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Belgium, as well as the Presidents of the Senate and Parliament.

In Brussels the President of Armenia is scheduled to meet with the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, the Secretary General of the Council of the European Union, Javier Solana, Secretary General of NATO, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the President of the European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pottering. The President of Armenia will have a working dinner with the Commissioner of the EU, Head of External Relations, Dr. Benita Ferrero-Valdner.

Serzh Sarsgyan will also meet with the EU Commissioners for Justice, Trade, and Transportation.

In Brussels the President of Armenia will meet with the representatives of the Armenian community.

Before leaving for Europe, the President of Armenia has had today a working dinner with the Heads of the diplomatic missions of the EU member states accredited to Armenia. Discussed was a wide range of issues pertaining to Armenia-EU relations.
