President Serzh Sargsyan received Alexei Miller, the Chief Executive Officer of the Gazprom company
Today President Serzh Sargsyan received Alexei Miller, the Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Gazprom company.
At the meeting discussed was a wide range of issues pertaining to the cooperation in the energy area and the ongoing programs. The two sides noted with satisfaction the unfolding cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Gazprom company, assessing it as productive and promising. The President of Armenia and Gazprom CEO discussed also issues related to the investment projects for the 5th section of the Hrazdan thermo-energy station.
For his contribution to the development of the economic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation and for promoting and deepening friendly ties between the two countries, President Serzh Sargsyan awarded Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller with the Medal of Honor. Alexei Miller expressed gratitude for such a high honor and in his turn hailed the current level of the Armenian-Russian cooperation in the energy area and its prospects.
