Russian President Dmitri Medvedev extended his congratulations to President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the latter’s birthday

During the phone conversation with the President of Armenia, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev extended his congratulations to his Armenian counterpart on the occasion of the latter’s birthday. The President of the Russian Federation sent also a congratulatory message to the President of Armenia. The message states:

“Dear Serzh Azatovich,

I cordially congratulate you with your 55th birthday.
As a responsible statesman you are doing a lot for Armenia’s social development and a higher standing in the international arena. In Russia we greatly appreciate your persistent steps towards strengthening the strategic partnership between our two countries and expansion of the multifaceted cooperation.

I warmly recall our recent meetings in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. As always they were conducted in the atmosphere of mutual trust and in constructive spirit and proved once again that the Armenian-Russian relations have great future. I am confident that this constructive atmosphere will be conducive to the deepening of the political dialogue and cooperation between Armenia and the Russian Federation for the benefit of our two countries and peoples, for the benefit of peace and stability in the region.

Dear Serzh Azatovich,

I wish you good health and new achievements for the benefit of the Armenian people. I also wish happiness and success to your family and friends”.
